My name is Carly Hager. Along the beginning of my journey of recovery from active drug addiction, I observed women struggling on the streets of Columbus. In my intention of wanting to give back what was freely given to me, I created this outreach to spread hope and to allow these women the opportunity to know that they are loved and cared about. They are worth living a new way of life. Any help to this organization is eternally appreciated!

Hollie Daniels is a lived experience expert and exited the lifestyle in 2015. She Co-Founded Reaching for the Shining Starz while receiving substance abuse and trauma treatment the same year. She has since gone on to cofound several other entities that are serving our community.

Hollie Daniels is a lived experience expert and exited the lifestyle in 2015. She Co-Founded Reaching for the Shining Starz while receiving substance abuse and trauma treatment the same year. She has since gone on to cofound several other entities that are serving our community.
Hollie Daniels has particular expertise in Business Development. She has worked for many years connecting people to treatment and recovery programs tailored to their specific needs. Hollie works everyday as an impetus of change for those trapped in the darkness of addiction and sex trafficking. A fierce cycle breaker herself, emerging from generational intersections of addiction and mental health, Hollie strives to share the same passion, zeal and compassion that was gifted her on her own journey. Hollie has received numerous accolades for her efforts locally and on a much grander scale. Of note, she was awarded BBC 100Women of the World 2019. Hollie champions recovery and the fundamental belief that anyone is capable of recovery and the beautiful and bountiful things therein. Hollie runs a recovery housing program to ensure individuals have safe, secure shelter as they navigate the process of building a new life and chapter in sobriety. Hollie plays a major role in raising her niece, nephew and step-daughter; and helps raise awareness around human trafficking and does street outreach in her spare time.
